Knowledge Centre / After listing
What happens once I am listed?
The market that priced you will read you again.
- Financial results published every half year (every quarter on the Main Board)
- Related-party transactions approved by the audit committee and, where the law requires, by shareholders
- Important events disclosed to the exchange promptly
- Rules that stop insiders trading on information the public does not have, with set periods when they may not trade
- Independent directors and board committees
- Use of the money raised reported to the exchange, with any change explained
- Key numbers from the offer document reported for a period, and watched by the market
Planning for these duties before listing gives the company time to build the habits they need.
